Congratulations Cathy!  A rose grey is always a lovely surprise, and Cally was certainly that!  She arrived with a little help, and an extra pull, from the farm family team, and thus her registered name “Calamity Jane”.  As she took to her feet, it was clear why her dam struggled to deliver her.  She is a lovely, tall, upright girl with a very healthy birth weight.  Strong, and strong willed, she holds her own at play with the older boys in the pasture.  She’s full of fun and no shrinking violet!

As her subtle tuxedo markings (white markings on face, chest and front hooves) suggest, she has a dusting of white and black fibres throughout her fleece that we expect to develop into a stunning “rose grey”.  She is well built with lovely, strong bone structure, good fibre coverage and character in that fibre, and lovely, unique markings.  Her blanket is solid in colour.  And her temperament is playful.  She is a real joy to watch with the other cria in the pasture.
