alpaca, male, stud

Cartwright is a gorgeous, full Peruvian male with perfect, square conformation, good bone and coverage just like his dam. All this captures your attention when you walk in the barn, but his fleece is his best feature with coverage right down to his toes, a nice soft handle and very good character. Cartwright is maintaining a dense fleece with very good crimp.  And most importantly, he has that kind, gentle disposition that we seek in all of our Oak Hills males.

And Cartwright’s offspring speak for themselves:  beautiful dark colours, impressive coverage and fleece quality and character that captures your attention.  Breed him to your girl and the result has consistently been a darker cria.  Without a doubt though, his most endearing characteristic which we see passed on to his cria is temperament.

Cartwright’s dam is an RFA D’arcy daughter and is a very light fawn like Cartwright. D’arcia won many ribbons during her short show career including a RESERVE CHAMPION ribbon. D’arcia is perfectly square too with that same coverage right down to her toes, and an excellent mom. She comes from one of Sumaq Valley’s original female lines known for fineness and density. She was the Reserve Champion fawn at the 2006 Pacific Coast Show.
